Delicious Homemade Raspberry Chia Jam Recipe Using Thermomix
Homemade jam is a delightful addition to any breakfast or snack. And when you make it yourself, you can control the ingredients and sweetness levels. This recipe for Raspberry Chia Jam is not only delicious but also healthier than store-bought jams, as it’s sweetened with natural ingredients like maple syrup. Using a Thermomix makes the process quick and easy, so let’s get started!
Ingredients:
- 500g fresh raspberries
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Preparation:
1. Prepare the Ingredients
Start by washing the raspberries and patting them dry with a paper towel. Measure out the chia seeds, maple syrup, and lemon juice so they are ready to go when needed.
2. Cook the Raspberries
Add the raspberries to the Thermomix bowl and cook them at 100°C for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally with the spatula.
3. Blend the Raspberries
After the raspberries have cooked, blend them on speed 7 for 10 seconds until smooth.
4. Add the Chia Seeds
Next, add the chia seeds to the raspberry mixture in the Thermomix bowl. Cook at 100°C for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Sweeten the Jam
Once the chia seeds have thickened the jam, add the maple syrup and lemon juice. Cook at 100°C for 2 minutes, stirring to combine all the ingredients.
6. Cool and Store
Allow the jam to cool slightly before transferring it to a clean jar. Once cooled, store the Raspberry Chia Jam in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Enjoy on toast, yogurt, or as a topping for desserts!
