A Twist on Tradition: Reinventing Patatas Bravas with Olla GM Technology
Patatas Bravas is a classic Spanish dish that consists of crispy fried potatoes served with a spicy tomato sauce. In this recipe, we will be reinventing this traditional dish using Olla GM technology to make it even easier and more delicious.
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (400g) of chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Preparation:
1. Preparing the Potatoes
Start by peeling and dicing the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
Temperature: 120°C
Time: 5 minutes
2. Frying the Potatoes
Heat the olive oil in the Olla GM and add the diced potatoes. Cook until they are golden and crispy.
Temperature: 140°C
Time: 10 minutes
3. Making the Spicy Tomato Sauce
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the Olla GM and sauté until they are soft and fragrant.
Temperature: 120°C
Time: 5 minutes
Next, add the chopped tomatoes, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook the sauce until it thickens and the flavors are well combined.
Temperature: 100°C
Time: 15 minutes
4. Assembling the Dish
Once the potatoes are crispy and the sauce is ready, transfer the potatoes to a serving dish and pour the spicy tomato sauce on top.
5. Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle chopped parsley on top for garnish and serve hot as a delicious and spicy twist on the traditional Patatas Bravas.
