Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of day-old bread (any type)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Preheat your Thermomix to 120°C.
  2. Tear the bread slices into smaller pieces and place them in the mixing bowl of the Thermomix.
  3. Grind the bread on Speed 8 for 10 seconds until you have fine bread crumbs.
  4. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley, oregano, thyme, and Parmesan cheese to the bread crumbs in the mixing bowl.
  5. Mix on Speed 4 for 10 seconds to combine the ingredients.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the bread crumb mixture in the Thermomix.
  7. Mix on Speed 3 for 10 seconds to evenly distribute the olive oil.
  8. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl with a spatula to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  9. Spread the seasoned bread crumbs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 10-15 minutes or until the bread crumbs are golden brown and crispy.
  11. Remove from the oven and let the bread crumbs cool before using them in your favorite recipes.
