Delicious and Easy Pumpkin Bicolor Cake Recipe with Thermomix
Looking for a delicious and easy cake recipe that will impress your family and friends? Look no further! This Pumpkin Bicolor Cake is not only visually stunning, but also incredibly tasty. Made with the help of a Thermomix, this recipe is a breeze to whip up. So let’s get started!
Ingredients:
- 250g pumpkin puree
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 200g granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 120g vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Green food coloring
- Orange food coloring
Preparation:
1. Preparing the Pumpkin Puree
Start by preparing the pumpkin puree. Cut the pumpkin into chunks and remove the skin and seeds. Steam the pumpkin chunks until they are soft and tender. Once cooked, transfer the pumpkin to your Thermomix and blend until smooth. Set aside.
2. Preheating the Oven
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a round cake pan and set aside.
3. Mixing the Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt. Mix well with a whisk or spoon.
4. Preparing the Batter
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.
5. Dividing the Batter
Divide the batter into two equal parts. Leave one part as it is and add a few drops of green food coloring to the other part to create the green batter.
6. Assembling the Cake
Pour the orange batter into the greased cake pan and spread it evenly. Then, pour the green batter on top of the orange batter, creating a second layer. Use a skewer or a knife to gently swirl the two colors together, creating a marbled effect.
7. Baking the Cake
Place the cake pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Cooling and Serving
Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, slice and serve. This Pumpkin Bicolor Cake is delicious on its own, but you can also top it with cream cheese frosting or a dusting of powdered sugar for an extra touch.
Enjoy this delicious and easy Pumpkin Bicolor Cake with your loved ones. It’s the perfect treat for any occasion!
