Ingredients
- 250g salmon fillets, skinless and boneless
- 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Creamy Oriental Sauce:
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Preparation
1. Prepare the Salmon and Shrimp Meatballs
- Cut the salmon fillets into small chunks and add them to the Thermomix bowl.
- Add the shrimp, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Process the mixture on Speed 5 for 20 seconds, or until well combined.
- Using wet hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a lined baking tray.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.

- In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and ginger.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until well combined.

- Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
