Get into the Halloween spirit with these deliciously spooky chocolate witch hats. Whether you’re hosting a Halloween party or simply looking for a fun treat to make with your kids, these chocolate witch hats are sure to impress. They are easy to make using a Thermomix, and the end result is a perfect combination of chocolate, crunch, and sweetness.

Ingredients:

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 200g white chocolate
  • 12 small sugar cones
  • 12 small round chocolate cookies
  • 12 orange candy melts
  • 12 Hershey’s kisses
  • 12 small black licorice laces

Preparation:

Step 1: Prepare the Chocolate Coating

In a Thermomix, melt the dark chocolate at 50°C for 3 minutes, until smooth and glossy. Set aside.

Step 2: Dip the Sugar Cones

Dip each sugar cone into the melted dark chocolate, making sure to coat the entire cone. Place the coated cones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them set in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.

Step 3: Attach the Cookie Base

Using a small amount of melted dark chocolate, attach a round chocolate cookie to the bottom of each coated sugar cone. This will serve as the base of the witch hat. Allow the chocolate to set in the refrigerator for another 10 minutes.

Step 4: Melt the White Chocolate

In the Thermomix, melt the white chocolate at 50°C for 3 minutes. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Step 5: Dip and Decorate

Dip each coated sugar cone into the melted white chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the dipped cones back on the parchment paper and let them set in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

While the white chocolate is still wet, attach an orange candy melt to the center of each cone, creating the hat’s buckle. Then, place a Hershey’s kiss on top of the candy melt to complete the witch hat’s pointy top.

Step 6: Add the Finishing Touches

Using melted dark chocolate, create a small bow by attaching two small black licorice laces to the base of each Hershey’s kiss. Allow the chocolate to set in the refrigerator for a final 10 minutes.

Step 7: Serve and Enjoy!

Once the chocolate witch hats have fully set, remove them from the refrigerator and serve them at your Halloween party or as a fun treat for the family. Enjoy the crunchy texture of the cone, the creamy chocolate, and the delightful sweetness of the candy melts and cookies.
