These bite-sized treats are the perfect combination of moist carrot cake and creamy chocolate, making them a truly indulgent dessert. Ingredients:
- 2 cups of grated carrots
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup of raisins
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of shredded coconut
Preparation:
Step 1: Prepare the Carrot Cake Mixture
In a large bowl, mix together the grated carrots, flour, sugar, vegetable oil, walnuts, raisins, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
Mixing time: 3 minutes
Step 2: Form the Trufas
Using your hands, roll the carrot cake mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Rolling time: 5 minutes
Step 3: Cook the Trufas in the Olla GM
Place the trufas in the Olla GM and cook them at 180°C for 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Step 4: Prepare the Chocolate Coating
In a small saucepan, heat the chocolate chips and heavy cream over low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Heating time: 5 minutes
Step 5: Coat the Trufas
Dip each trufa into the melted chocolate mixture, then roll them in the shredded coconut until they are fully coated.
