Ingredients:
- 500 grams of ground beef
- 500 grams of potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 500 milliliters of beef broth
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Preparation:
1. Prepare the Meat Filling
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until they become translucent and fragrant. This should take about 5 minutes.
Next, add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until it is browned and fully cooked. Break up any large chunks of meat with a wooden spoon to ensure it cooks evenly.
