- 500ml vegetable broth
- 100ml heavy cream
Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the broccoli by cutting it into florets. Rinse them thoroughly under running water and set aside.
Step 2: In the Thermomix bowl, add the diced jamón, minced garlic, and olive oil. Cook at 120°C for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the jamón is crispy and the garlic is fragrant.
Step 3: Remove the jamón and garlic from the bowl and set aside. Leave the remaining oil in the bowl for the next step.
Step 4: Add the broccoli florets to the Thermomix bowl. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired). Cook at 100°C for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is slightly tender.
Step 5: Pour the vegetable broth into the Thermomix bowl with the broccoli. Cook at 100°C for 10 minutes, or until the broccoli is fully cooked and tender.
Step 6: Using a slotted spoon, remove the broccoli from the bowl and set aside. Leave the broth in the bowl for the next step.
Step 7: Add the cooked jamón and garlic back into the Thermomix bowl with the broth. Cook at 120°C for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, to infuse the flavors.
Step 8: Transfer the contents of the Thermomix bowl into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Step 9: Return the blended mixture back into the Thermomix bowl. Add the heavy cream and cook at 90°C for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to heat the soup.
Step 10: Serve the Broccoli y Jamón soup hot with a sprinkle of crispy jamón on top. Enjoy!
