Ingredients:
- 500g beef, cut into small cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 250g long grain rice
- 500ml chicken broth
- 50g raisins
- 50g sliced almonds
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Preparation:
Preparing the Ternera con Salsa:
- In the Thermomix bowl, add the onion and garlic. Chop for 5 seconds on speed 5.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the olive oil. Sauté for 3 minutes at 120°C on speed 1.
- Add the beef cubes and cook for 8 minutes at 120°C on reverse speed soft.
- Next, add the sliced bell peppers and diced tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes at 100°C on reverse speed soft.
- Add the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes at 100°C on reverse speed soft.
- Once the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened, remove from the Thermomix and set aside.
Preparing the Arroz con Pasas y Almendras:
- Place the rice in the Thermomix bowl. Add the chicken broth and cook for 12 minutes at 100°C on reverse speed soft.
- Add the raisins and sliced almonds. Cook for an additional 2 minutes at 100°C on reverse speed soft.
- Once the rice is cooked and the raisins and almonds are evenly distributed, remove from the Thermomix.
Serving:
To serve, place a portion of the Ternera con Salsa on a plate alongside a serving of Arroz con Pasas y Almendras. Garnish with fresh parsley for added freshness and presentation. Enjoy this delectable dish with your loved ones!
