Ingredients:

  • 500g beef, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 250g long grain rice
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 50g raisins
  • 50g sliced almonds
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation:

Preparing the Ternera con Salsa:

  1. In the Thermomix bowl, add the onion and garlic. Chop for 5 seconds on speed 5.
  2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the olive oil. Sauté for 3 minutes at 120°C on speed 1.
  3. Add the beef cubes and cook for 8 minutes at 120°C on reverse speed soft.
  4. Next, add the sliced bell peppers and diced tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes at 100°C on reverse speed soft.
  5. Add the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes at 100°C on reverse speed soft.
  6. Once the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened, remove from the Thermomix and set aside.

Preparing the Arroz con Pasas y Almendras:

  1. Place the rice in the Thermomix bowl. Add the chicken broth and cook for 12 minutes at 100°C on reverse speed soft.
  2. Add the raisins and sliced almonds. Cook for an additional 2 minutes at 100°C on reverse speed soft.
  3. Once the rice is cooked and the raisins and almonds are evenly distributed, remove from the Thermomix.

Serving:

To serve, place a portion of the Ternera con Salsa on a plate alongside a serving of Arroz con Pasas y Almendras. Garnish with fresh parsley for added freshness and presentation. Enjoy this delectable dish with your loved ones!
