Description

This recipe is a perfect combination of crunchy cookies and creamy caramel. Using a Thermomix makes the process quick and easy, resulting in a decadent dessert that will impress your friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 200g of cookies
  • 100g of butter
  • 400g of condensed milk
  • 100g of sugar
  • 100g of water
  • 200g of heavy cream
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Preparation

Cookie Base

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  1. Crush the cookies in the Thermomix until they have a fine crumb texture.
  2. Melt the butter in the Thermomix at 90°C for 3 minutes.
  3. Mix the crushed cookies with the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Press the cookie mixture into the base of a lined baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.

Caramel Cream Filling

  1. In the Thermomix, combine the condensed milk, sugar, and water.
  2. Cook at 100°C for 10 minutes until the mixture thickens and turns a golden caramel color.
  3. Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract to the caramel mixture.
  4. Cook at 90°C for 5 minutes until well combined.
  5. Pour the caramel cream over the cooled cookie base.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.

Serving
